Waxhaw Real Estate

The community of Waxhaw, NC dates all the way back to the 1700’s and was chartered in 1889.  The Waxhaw historic district in the heart of town (pictured) is on the National Historic Register.  The location 20 minutes south of south Charlotte makes this bedroom community still very accessible.  One of the main attractions is the footbridge used now only by pedestrians over the railroad tracks that run through the downtown.  Waxhaw is the southern point of a corridor that is beginning to emerge between Charlotte through the Ballantyne area past the Village of Marvin ending in this historic community.

I was searching for a home in the University Area (3 bedrooms under $150k) in Charlotte and got in touch with Katie Brown. After only a few weeks, Katie helped me get a house with every single thing on my wish list at exactly the right price! She was very pleasant to work with, always going above and beyond to help me out by answering a multitude of first time home buyer questions, and including advice. I was very pleased with Katie’s ability to negotiate on my behalf and help me get priority …
