Concord Real Estate

    Concord (kon-kord) is the county seat and largest city in Cabarrus County.  It is located 2o miles northeast of Charlotte center city and is home to some of North Carolina’s top tourist destinations, NASCAR’s Charlotte Motor Speedway and the mall Concord Mills.  In 2015, Concord was ranked as the city with the 16th fastest growing economy in the United States.  The city was also a winner of the All-American City Award in 2004.

    The Historic Cabarrus County Courthouse is a landmark located in Concord was completed in 1876.  It was recognized and listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

    There are three recreational centers, eight parks, four sport court complexes, an aquatics center, Lake Fisher, boating, fishing, greenways and bike paths. There is also the championship 18-hole Rocky River Golf Club (a Dan Maples design) owned and operated by the City and managed by a contracted company.
